Membership information

Full club membership provides:

- Unlimited access and use of the club compressor, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Unlimited boat diving based on Zone 1 (Teignmouth to Start Point)

We don't mind what agency you trained with and our current membership is a mix of BSAC, PADI, SAA & GUE trained divers. We value experience more than qualification level and will happily help you to fill any gaps you feel you may have in your knowledge. If you have done a course but feel you lack experience then this is the perfect environment for you. If you have any questions just give us a shout.

Membership rates:

The fee for full annual membership with Torbay BSAC is £250 (with an additional £52 annual subscription to BSAC).

Yes that's right, for just £4.80 a week, free boat diving and free air, work it out, an air fill at a commercial shop will cost you £3, we are offering as many fills as you need and as much diving as you can handle from our hard boat or the club RIB for £250! Are we mad?...maybe

During the better weather months the boat usually goes out up to eight times a week, during the winter we get out as much as possible depending on the weather

So...just to make it clear...if you dive four times a week and not forgetting your air is included that makes a total of £1.20 a dive including air... you cant even park to do a shore dive for that!

If we go beyond Start point to Salcombe etc the only extra is for the fuel to get the boat there and back, this is split, at cost, between all those diving over the weekend.

Social membership:

Another option for those wishing to be part of the club but not dive, social membership is available for the annual rate of £20 a year. Social member allows those who have given up diving or for whatever reason choose not to dive, to still be involved with the club socially.
