The National Diving & Activity Centre Chepstow, offers some
of the best inland diving experiences in Europe. Whether you’re
taking the plunge for the first time or are a seasoned technical
diver, we offer an exciting range of challenges and training to
suit. With over 55 acres of fresh water, in depths of up to 80
metres, divers can explore a plethora of underwater
attractions.
At the National Diving & Activity Centre,
we want your entire diving experience to be a memorable one, so we
also offer a comprehensive range of support services. We have one
of the UK's finest gas blending systems, a fully stocked shop, an
onsite canteen serving delicious hot and cold food, and clean,
heated, changing facilities...

THE ADVENTURES OF ONE MAN AND HIS KAYAK
Torbay in south Devon is perhaps best known as the biggest sea-side resort in the south west. But for those of us who venture beyond it's golden sand beaches, towering headlands and glorious coastal footpath, there is a wealth of marine life and huge variety of diving sites accessible either from the shore or just a short boat ride away.
THE DIVING DISEASES RESEARCH CENTRE (DDRC), is a charity which aims to promote and take part in the medical treatment, training and research associated with the use of hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of diving diseases and other medical problems.

Over 50 trained and qualified volunteer watchkeepers share daylight watches operating every day of the year. Watchkeepers observe activity throughout the sea area of the above panoramic picture and log identified vessels. The station is equipped with telescopes, radar, radio, telephone and weather instrumentation as well as up to date charts. Through close cooperation with the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA), NCI at Froward Point earned its "Declared Facility Status" in 2007, enabling us to become an integral part of the National Search and Rescue structure.
